- This is a challenge/announcement/request to any and all out there on the Net.
-
- I'm looking to put together a collection of hypermedia influenced art. If
- you've, something of this nature, I'd like to link you. If you haven't, I'd
- like you to try.
-
- What I'm looking for
- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
- Create something, HTML based, that you couldn't create before. USE MOSAIC.
- I'm not really interested in a poem with pictures stuck in. Exploit the
- medium. Use the links and vary the media to create.
-
- Well, that's it.
-
- If you have any other questions, e me.

- Subject: Problems with MS-TCP/IP-32VxD & Winsock
-
- Since installing the beta release of the Microsoft VxD TCP/IP stack,
- I am getting weird problems with nearly all my Winsock apps.
- WinQVT/Net 3.97 is the worst of the lot - it has started dropping
- characters regularly. After switching back to the Tattam stack,
- the problems went away. Has anyone else had this experience and, if
- so, is there some fix that escapes me?

- It can. Just rename the winsock.dll in the ....\system32 dierctory to save
- it, and copy the Trumpet version in. It works the same as under Win 3.1, but
- is very slow for me at times. I'm no modem genius, so I suspect with time and
- effort you could get it working just as well.

- The upcoming WSGopher 1.0 will support the binary characters in saved
- bookmarks that at least one firewall uses (according to mail I've received);
- furthermore, I'd be willing to support "Socks" in a future effort if there is
- enough interest, and if I can locate the documentation.
